Our very first boy party!

We were excited and a little anxious about decorating a boy party for the first time. Our clients, Maye and Junie, approached us to decorate Maye's sister's baby shower. She was having a boy. Maye and Junie were very easy to work with. They showed us photo examples of the designs that they liked and in the end, agreed on having a polka dot themed party. Btw, they also manage/own a Filipino bakery called Valerio's Bakery. I highly recommend that you give them a try. Their breads are awesome and they have branches all over the US.

Anyway, here are photos from the event.

The Centerpiece

Instead of gifts, the generous couple requested guests to donate to their church. The gazebo was decorated so that guests can come here to drop off their donation.

When a guest donates, he/she can write his/her name on a tag provided and hang the tag on a tree branch.

Fairy ONEderland Party

We did a party in June that is a little different from all the other parties we have styled because our client wanted a formal 1st birthday party. We decided to skip using balloons since the event was outdoors and we had a little amount of prep time. All the decorations we used for this event were made ahead and most of them semi-handcrafted. Here are the photos from the event.

Theme: Fairy Onederland
Colors: Fuschia, Purple, Pink,Teal, Lime
Event Venue: Shinn Historic Park Fremont, CA
Styling: Sarsie's Parties

The cake table was set up underneath the pergola to make it the
center of attention for the event.

Light pink butterflies hung from the above the cake table.

Guest tables were dressed in white linens with alternating purple
and lime runners. The chairs were tied with fuchsia ribbons.

Each table had a main centerpiece in the middle and a flower pom pom
with a butterfly accent on each side of the table.

The main centerpiece is made of white branches adorned
with butterflies, ribbons, and flowers.

It's Daryll's Dora Party!

Hola! One of my friend's daughter, Daryll, celebrated her 3rd birthday at the park last weekend. My friend approached me wanting us to style the party. It was quite a challenge because I know that the venue is outdoors, in an open area. We decided  to forgo balloon columns and high centerpieces to ensure that we do not encounter any balloon accidents (column toppling over, flying centerpieces, etc). Anyway, here are the photos from the party. I hope you like them!

Mad Hatter Tea Party for Julianne

My sister, Julianne, just turned 13! What a better way to celebrate her birthday than to dress up in weird hats and have fun! When she choose the Mad Hatter Theme for her party, I immediately went to work. I loved how this theme allowed me to use a lot of vibrant colors and go all crazy with the design.

Here are photos from the party:

This was placed on the cake table and was a last minute addition to the decorations.

Cute personalized signs for the party.

The shiny pinwheels added sparkles to the guest tables.
